Dogs First is a volunteer-run dog rescue charity based in Cramlington, Northumberland. We help abandoned and neglected dogs from across Northumberland and the North East, giving them the medical care, rehabilitation and support they need before finding them safe, loving forever homes.
Who We Are
Our Mission
Dogs First is a small, volunteer-run dog rescue charity based in Cramlington, Northumberland. Since 2010, we’ve rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed more than 1,000 dogs from across Northumberland and the North East. We do more than rescue dogs, we provide veterinary care, behavioural support and careful matching to help every dog find the right home. Because Dogs First is run entirely by volunteers, every penny donated goes directly towards the welfare of the dogs in our care.
