Frequently Asked Questions
What does Dogs First spend donations on? expand_more
Every single penny goes to the welfare of the dogs in our care. This includes food, treats, toys, bedding, veterinary costs such as neutering, vaccinations, worming, flea treatment, and any surgical procedures our rescue dogs need.
Do you have a dog food bank? expand_more
Yes. We have various bags of dry kibble and wet food available for dog owners in need. This service is meant to help in case of emergencies. We also have wet and dry food available at reduced prices. Please get in touch if you need help.
Can I donate items instead of money? expand_more
Absolutely. We accept donations of unwanted pet food and equipment. What we cannot use, we pass on to other rescues or owners in need. We also welcome good quality items for tombola and raffle prizes at our fundraising events.
Can I fundraise for Dogs First? expand_more
We are always happy to help anyone who has an idea for fundraising. Whether you are taking on a run, skydive, quiz night or other activity to raise funds, please get in touch and we will support you.
